You bought the Ultimate Fighter pack, stepped into the cage, and got dismantled. Stamina gone by round two, move set picked at random, no clue what Street Creds are for. This guide fixes all three.

Below: winning the MMA mini-game, picking moves, managing stamina, spending Street Creds, and whether the pack is worth it — based on the official UFM announcement and player guides.

What is Ultimate Fighter Mode?

Ultimate Fighter Mode (UFM) is a one-time purchase DLC that adds a full MMA career to BitLife. Launched June 11, 2026, it lets you pick a fighting class, train Striking, Wrestling, and Submission, learn 200+ moves, and climb from street fights to league championships in an interactive MMA mini-game.

The pack costs around $10 at launch (check your regional store). It is a lifetime unlock: once bought, it applies to every character you play, per the official UFM page — which also lists street fights, a hireable coach, league rankings, fight betting, and fighter trash talk. Our expansion packs explained guide compares UFM to other BitLife DLC.

How do you win fights in the MMA mini-game?

Fights are won before the bell: enter with a full stamina bar and a move set built around high power and low stamina cost. Open the Move Set menu first, equip your best damage-per-stamina moves, and keep at least one move from each category so rivals cannot counter you. In the fight, find your critical-hit moves and rotate them.

This is the core of Pro Game Guides’ UFM strategy. Test each move early to find your guaranteed critical hit, then mix in other moves so you are not dodged on crucial turns — some damage is better than no damage.

What are Street Creds and how do you earn them?

Street Creds are the UFM currency, earned two ways: League Fighting and Street Fighting. Street fights are the faster grind — they pay out plenty of Creds and cost you nothing on a loss, since street fights carry no ranking or money penalty. League matches pay Creds plus XP and prize money, but a loss can hurt your ranking.

Spend Creds in the Skill Shop on new moves, stamina recovery, and your coach (Pro Game Guides). allthings.how confirms street fights are the safest rebuild route — no risk, steady income, free move practice.

How does stamina management work?

Stamina is the single biggest reason fights are lost. Check your bar in the fighting menu before any match — if it is low, use the Recovery option. The paid recovery methods cost Street Creds and, per player-reported guides, top the meter up in one go, while free methods only restore a small amount.

Never enter a league fight on a half-full bar: farm Creds in street fights, buy a full recovery, then take your ranked match. Favor low-stamina-cost moves (allthings.how) — a cheap move you can throw eight times beats a devastating one you can afford twice.

Which fighting classes should you train first?

Train all three categories — Striking, Wrestling, and Submission — rather than specializing early. High-level opponents can counter you if your equipped set is too narrow, so one equipped move from each category is the minimum before any serious fight.

Unlock moves two ways: buy them from the Skill Shop with Street Creds, or earn task-based moves by joining a martial arts class under the Mind & Body tab (allthings.how). The move list is leveled, so start young — and a healthy character with a natural Sports Trait can join a Fighting Gym straight away.

How does the league ranking system work?

The league is a ranked ladder. You fight registered fighters one by one, climb the rankings, and reach the number 1 spot to win the league and become UFM Champion. Each rung pays more: bigger prize money plus XP and Street Creds.

Street fights sit outside the rankings — your practice ground and Cred farm. Fight betting also returned with this update. Note UFM is standalone DLC, not part of Boss Mode’s special-career job packs.

What does your coach actually do?

Your coach sharpens your technique and improves your stats faster — the official description — so training progress and stat growth accelerate once hired. The catch: hiring and keeping one drains Street Creds — your biggest recurring expense after moves.

Smart order: grind street fights for Creds first, then hire the coach, then buy the moves. Existing Martial Arts training carries into UFM, so veterans start ahead.

Is Ultimate Fighter Mode worth it?

Yes, if you play BitLife for depth. UFM adds a full career loop — training, street fights, a ranking ladder, a Street Creds economy, and a genuinely interactive mini-game — for a one-time price that applies to every character you ever make.

The caveats: it does not unlock God Mode, Bitizenship, or Boss Mode content. For fighting-sim fans, roughly $10 is modest for what it adds. The official BitLife app is the only safe way to buy it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Ultimate Fighter Mode a subscription?

No. It is a one-time marketplace purchase that applies to every character you play for life, per the official announcement.

Is UFM included in Boss Mode?

No. Boss Mode covers special-career job packs; UFM is a separate one-time-purchase DLC. Buying one does not grant the other.

Can I lose league fights without losing Street Creds?

You never lose Street Creds on a loss. Street fights also carry no ranking or money penalty, making them the safest way to practice and farm Creds.

Does my existing Martial Arts training count in UFM?

Yes. UFM is backwards compatible, so martial arts classes you already completed carry into the fighting career.
